Tesla tire rotation and cabin filter intervals in Canada

Tesla’s published tire rotation (every 10,000 km or 1.5 mm tread difference) and cabin air filter (every 2 years; HEPA/carbon every 3 years) schedule - plus why Canadian winters make both non-negotiable.

Tesla tire rotation interval

Tesla's published schedule: rotate tires every 10,000 km (6,250 miles), or sooner if tread depth between tires differs by 1.5 mm (2/32 in) or more- whichever comes first.

Tesla Canada's tire support page repeats the same 10,000 km / 1.5 mm rule and notes that aggressive driving accelerates wear. Instant torque and vehicle weight make even rotation especially important on Model 3 and Model Y.

Cabin air filter (and HEPA if equipped)

  • Standard cabin air filter: replace every 2 years (Tesla Model Y / Model 3 schedule).
  • HEPA (×2) + carbon (×2) on equipped vehicles: replace every 3 years.

Track due dates under Controls → Service → Maintenance and reset the reminder after DIY or shop replacement so the in-car Tesla maintenance history stays accurate.

Canadian winter tip

Many owners swap to winter tires - that is a natural moment to inspect tread, set cold pressures to the door sticker, and confirm the next rotation due date. Pair tire season with brake caliper service on salted roads.
